European based Australian rally driver Molly Taylor will make a surprise appearance at the Scouts Rally SA from 24-26 May for the Ford Innate Motorsport Team.

Fresh from competing in the Rally Acores, a round of the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) and ready to race at Rally Tour de Corse, held on the French island of Corsica, Taylor will fly into Adelaide on Monday 20 May with regular co-driver Seb Marshall.

Corporate packages are now available for the Gawler Showgrounds super special stage of this year's Scouts Rally SA.

The 2011 Australian Rally Champion, Justin Dowel, is offering an incredible $2000 in prize money to help boost entries in this month’s Scouts Rally SA.

The Activ RallySport driver has put up $2000 to any driver in the 4WD section of the rally who can beat him, as well as winning the 4WD component outright.

Dowel will drive his 2011 championship-winning Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX in the rally, which will be held in the Adelaide Hills from May 24 to 26.

Motorbikes will join the East Coast Bullbars Australian Rally Championship in May at this year’s Scouts Rally SA in a development that firms the event as a South Australian motorsport festival.

Motorcycling South Australia will run a technical event known as the “Juventus Forest Sprint” on the last day of Scouts Rally SA, as the first round of the Yamaha SA Offroad Motorcycle Series. SA’s best enduro riders will punt their machines around unmade tracks. They will be trying to traverse fast approaching obstacles, natural jumps, big logs and steep hills.
